How to Enjoy with the Family?

by Russell Lawrence

It is always advisable to take some time out of your busy life in the urban area and spend some quality time out in the nature. It is not necessary to go far and out to do that. You can find a spot in the close vicinity of your home, such as a hiking track or a camping ground in a national park of a reserve forest nearby.

The best thing about the outdoors is its natural beauty and above all the peace and tranquility that it provides to you after following a nerve wrecking routine back at the office for months or probably years. But the problem is that such spots which are close to cities are losing their natural beauty just for the reason that they are being affected by pollution at a very high rate. Even then, there are places which are still safe from these ill effects of human exploitation of nature and can provide you and your family the true joys of nature.

This can only happen when we understand and take good care of our natural surroundings when we visit these places. This is only possible when we make sure that we do not destroy the surroundings by disposing off our waste out there. The bio degradable is taken care of by Mother Nature but the non biodegradable part of our waste is what damages the nature. The results of such waste disposal are harmful effects for the visitors who visit these places later in time.

The biggest trash found out there is the plastic and glass containers of the drinks and water which people leave behind. These take a lot longer to degenerate and clear out. The reason is that people from the cities are not accustomed to drinking water from the springs as they usually contain bacteria which might be harmful for their digestive systems and may spoil their entire trip. The best thing is to carry along a Katadyn Hiker Pro Microfilter water purifier so that you do not litter the place with your empty water bottles.

Always remember that nature gives us a lot of peace and tranquility during our hiking and camping visits. But this will only be possible if we let it stay that way so that our next visit is equally beneficial and we do not get to come across garbage and waste from our previous visit.
